Anushka turns producer
Anushka Sharma will turn producer with her forthcoming collaboration. She is joining hands with Phantom to produce Navdeep Singh’s next film called NH 10. Anushka, who plays the lead in the film, liked the script so much that she has decided to co-produce it. At 25, this makes her among the youngest actor-producers on the block taking her into a different league altogether vis-à-vis her contemporaries.
“I’m thrilled to get a chance to do this so early on in my career. And I couldn’t have found a better project than NH 10 to kick-start this new phase in my film journey. It’s going to be super-exciting working together again on what promises to be an explosive film,” she said.

Actor Ayushmann Khurrana and singer Sonu Nigam have been approached for cameo roles in Bh Se Bhade. The lead character, Bhade, is essayed by Deven Bhojani who will try his hand at singing in one of the episodes. The show is also expected to have more cameo appearances in each episode. It also stars Sarita Joshi and Atul Parchure and is aired on Zee TV.
Gaga says she’s not beautiful
Pop star lady Gaga, who has often made headlines for her bizarre costumes and make-up, says she never was conventionally beautiful. The 27-year-old singer opened about her notions of beauty and personal struggle in an interview, reported Glamour magazine. When asked if she considers herself beautiful, she replied, “Not conventionally beautiful.”
“I've always been OK with that. I'm not a supermodel. That's not what I do. What I do is music. I want my fans to feel the way I do, to know that what they have to offer is just as important, more important, than what's happening on the outside. I'm confident in who I am,” Gaga said. “Being beautiful is not so fun when you're in a business with all men. Because it can actually get in the way,”she said.
