Saif’s film on counter-terrorism
Filmmaker Kabir Khan's last film Ek Tha Tiger was about the life of a RAW agent. He is now set to cast actor Saif Ali Khan in a film about counter-terrorism post the 26/11 Mumbai attack. The film is to be written by Hussain Zaidi, a prominent crime writer whose scrupulously researched books have earlier been the basis of Anurag Kashyap's Black Friday and Sanjay Gupta's Shootout At Wadala. This wouldn't be the first film that Saif would be doing on global terrorism. He has earlier done Rensil D'Silva's Kurbaan, in which he played a terrorist. In Kabir's film that Sajid Nadiadwala will produce, Saif crosses over to the other side. Said a source, “Saif plays a counter-terrorist deputed to tackle a post 26/11 scenario. It's a kind of extension to Salman Khan's RAW agent's role in Kabir Khan's Ek Tha Tiger.”

Adele to do a cameo in spy film
Singer Adele has reportedly landed a cameo role of a baddie in Matthew Vaughn's new spy film The Secret Service. The 25-year-old, who was previously involved in the award-winning blockbuster Skyfall, will join the likes of David Beckham and Sir Elton John in an already star-studded cast. “Adele is exactly what Matthew is looking for. He wants the highest-profile names in various fields to turn the film into a mega-money franchise. You can't get much bigger than Adele in music,” a source said. The film based on a spy graphic novel by Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons, stars Colin Firth and Michael Caine as super agents fighting a team of villains headed by Samuel l Jackson.
