‘I won’t talk about the hug’

Shah Rukh Khan chose not to comment on the much hyped hug with Salman Khan at a recent iftaar party. The hug between the two superstars led everyone to believe that the two warring Khans have become friends again but SRK said, “Whether it’s my relationship, friendship or any other personal aspect I have never dignified it by talking about it in public. I like to keep it like this. With due respect people have already analysed the whole situation. So much has been said and written about it. I don't want to give any explanation or talk about it.”

The two actors turned foes after a spat at Katrina Kaif's birthday party in 2008. Since then both have always avoided each other in public.

Public will now get to know television viewership in thousands, colloquially referred to as TVT. It captures and reflects growth in TV audiences in the country in absolute numbers. TVT will be the sole rating available in the public domain. Advertisers, agencies and broadcasters have worked closely and diligently over the last couple of weeks with TAM and are pleased to jointly announce their agreement. For internal evaluation including planning, percentage TVR weekly will be available to advertisers and agencies as in the past. An option of TVT as a four-week rolling average will be provided every week. The rolling average is statistically more stable data on viewership, especially for smaller audiences in niche channels, regional languages, English language programmes and news. TAM will make all future audience measurement changes based on inputs from the joint-industry BARC Technical Committee.

Brad Pitt to drive tanks in Fury

Actor Brad Pitt will be seen driving tanks in his upcoming film Fury and he is being trained to maneuver the armoured vehicle. Based on a World War II epiosode, the 49-year-old actor stars as a US soldier on a mission behind enemy lines in Fury, being directed by David Ayer. It also stars Shia laBeouf. The producers have laid on training sessions for Pitt and his co-stars in Wiltshire and Germany with the idea of making the battle scenes more realistic. “These bootcamps will involve hardcore physical exercise as well as advanced tank driving. Steven Spielberg did a similar thing on Saving Private Ryan. It really made the actors feel like they were soldiers,” said a source. Fury will release next year.
