Noble act by stars
Star India has partnered with NGO Goonj to help the Uttarakhand flood victims. Noted TV actors of Star’s various channels are urging the audience to donate funds. A special short promo is being aired on more than 30 channels in multiple languages, which will enable the channel to reach out to their 600 million viewers.
Glimpse of jhalak
Watch Drashti Dhami perform on Pyaar Ki Yeh Kahani Suno with her choreographer partner Salman in today’s episode of dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. One of the judges, Remo D’Souza, was impressed when he saw them rehearsing. He commented, “The footwork for flamenco is as difficult as that of Kathak. They are making a good attempt.” The other contestant, Shweta Tiwari, will perform on Krazzy Kiya Re with her new choreographer Savio. Karanvir Bohra is all geared up to present his dance on Mera Man from Ranbir Kapoor’s Barfi!.
COOK IT UP WITH SONA-RANVEER
Sonakshi Sinha and Ranveer Singh will be a part of DID Super Moms and will promote their forthcoming film lootera. The duo will dance and cook with the contestants.
Ranveer and Sonakshi will also do some mujra and Bollywood steps with the top 16 contestants. Sonakshi will dance with skippers (Prince, Raghav, Siddhesh and Jai Kumar Nair).
Terence will get Ranveer to follow his lead and try some contemporary steps. Ranveer, who has been taking cooking classes, will peel some carrots with Sonakshi to make gajar ka halwa.
