With trend started in favour of BJP led NDA coalition and Narendra Modi’s victory from Vadodara as well as Varanasi in Gujarat, celebration started at Modi’s birthplace Vadnagar in North Gujarat. Modi’s old time friends, relatives and people came out of their houses and started bursting firecrackers. Some of them distributed sweets and vegetables too. Couple of tea vendor at Vadnagar offered tea free of cost to the people.
Meanwhile, talking to media person Narendra Modi’s mother Hira Ba gave his illustrious son blessings and said that the way he did good work for Gujarat, she is expecting him to do for the country. “My desire to see him as the Prime Minister of India fulfilled,” said the proud mother, who went to cast her vote in auto rikshaw in Gandhinagar.
Modi’s younger brother Pankaj Modi said that his entire family is happy with the way things have developed. “We wish Narendrabhai all the very best for the bigger responsibilities on national platform,” he added.
