Hrithik’s ode to Michael Jackson

For the title track of the forthcoming film Bang Bang, Hrithik Roshan has grooved a la his dance idol, the late King of Pop Michael Jackson. But the Bollywood actor says he's added a dash of his own style to the number. Hrithik has idolised Michael Jackson since the time he first moved to a dance beat and he used to learn the moves through play and pause mode for hours. “I love his style and energy. So, when Bosco (choreographer) and Sid (director Siddharth Anand) said ‘Michael Jackson', at first I thought there's no way I could match up, but then I reframed that and did it for my love for him in my own style. It's my ode to MJ,” Hrithik said.

Two production houses, Pentagram Film Pvt ltd & Sunil Mane Ent Pvt ltd, have joined hands to make a biopic on the life of mass leader and politician Arun Gawli. Arjun Rampal is playing the lead character in the movie. Producer Mandar Dalvi says he plans to launch many film projects starting this year and he would also like to focus on regional cinema.

The promo and poster of filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker's TV show Everest was launched recently. Co-directed by Glenn Baretto and Ankush Mohla, the Star Plus show is about the struggle of a daughter, who in order to gain her father's acceptance decides to climb the highest mountain of the world — Mount Everest. “I was intrigued by mountaineers and always used to think what they felt after reaching the peak of any mountain. Now, I know it's the inner satisfaction that they get,” said Gowariker, who has written and produced the show. “The show is not only about the female protagonist as each and every character has inner conflicts which they will deal with during the journey of our serial,” he said.

Touted as the most ambitious TV project, the show has managed to bring the magic of music maestro AR Rahman. The show's script is penned by Mitali Mahajan. The makers collaborated with Nehru Institute of Mountaineering and shot at the peaks of Uttarakhand and Nepal. “Our aim was to take cinema at audience's home,” said Gowariker.

Katie Price plans to freeze eggs

Katie Price plans to freeze her eggs so that she can have more children in future. The 36-year-old gave birth to her fifth child, daughter Bunny, last month. When asked if the premature arrivals of Bunny and 13-month-old son Jett have scared her, she said: “No, once you have them, all is forgotten. You don't forget the pain, but it doesn't bother me. I'll have another one before I'm 40. And then another in my early 40s. Then I'm going to freeze my eggs for when it comes to the point that doctors tell me I can't have any more. When I will be old I'll have so many children to look after me.”
