Telangana govt transfers 12 IAS officers in key departments

In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, Telangana government has transferred 12 IAS officers in key departments, including Special Chief Secretary of Municipal Administration department Jayesh Ranjan.

On Wednesday, Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju issued orders to this effect.

According to orders, Jayesh Ranjan, Special Chief Secretary of the Metropolitan Area and Urban Development (HMDA Limits), has been transferred and posted as Special Chief Secretary, Environment, Forest, Science and Technology Department. He has also been placed in full additional charge (FAC) of Director General, EPTRI.

Vikas Raj, Special Chief of Secretary of Transport, Roads & Buildings Department, has been transferred and posted as Special Chief Secretary, Energy Department.

A. Vani Prasad, Special Chief Secretary of Youth Affairs, Tourism and Culture, has been placed in FAC of the posts of Special Chief Secretary, Sports and Director, Heritage Telangana.

Senior IAS officer Navin Mittal has been posted as Special Chief Secretary of Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, replacing M Dana Kishore.

Shailaja Ramaiyer has been posted as Principal Secretary of Revenue (Endowments) Department.

Rahul Bojja, Principal Secretary of Revenue Department, has been given FAC of Principal Secretary of Tribal Welfare Department. He will continue to hold FAC of Principal Secretary of BC Welfare Department.

Ilambarthi K has been posted as Secretary, Transport, Roads & Buildings Department. He will continue to hold FAC of Secretary of Animal Husbandry Department and has also been placed in FAC of Commissioner of Transport.

Sarfaraz Ahmad, Metropolitan Commissioner, HMDA, has been placed in FAC of Secretary, Metropolitan Area & Urban Development (HMDA Limits) and Special Officer for Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, Cyberabad Municipal Corporation and Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation.

Shruti Ojha has been posted as Special Secretary, Women, Children, Disabled & Senior Citizens Department.

Md. Musharraf Ali Faruqui, Chairman and Managing Director, Telangana Rythu Power Distribution Company Ltd, has been transferred and posted as Director, Health & Family Welfare. He has also been placed in FAC of Director, Institute of Health & Family Welfare and CMD, Telangana Rythu Power Distribution Company Ltd.

Dr S. Sangeetha Satyanarayana has been transferred and posted as Director, Women and Child Development department.

Jitesh Patil, Chairman and Managing Director, TGRSPDCL, has been placed in FAC of Vice Chairman and Managing Director, TGREDCО.
