Swapnila Kirthan Purecha is a recognized fashion entrepreneur, exporter and the founder of SwapsCouture and High Dose. With more than fifteen years of experience in the fashion industry, she is a woman with a humble vision at heart and one who has only grown with every opportunity that comes her way.
She saw an opportunity in the Uniform Space by observing things around her during her daily work, which inspired her to embark on quality work in the Uniforms category. Swapnila Kirthan Purecha saw a problem here and decided to contribute to resolving it.
She set up SwapsCouture, a fashion business where she regularly receives government tenders to design uniforms and apparels for various sectors, Defence Sector being one such example.
News and buzz about the quality and authenticity of her fashion business reached seven seas making Swapnila one of the youngest exporters. This was a result of staying true to her vision and values.
Today, with an international clientele, SwapsCouture has a strong grip on the premium uniform sector and delivers worldwide with enthusiasm and perfection.
Swapnila Kirthan Purecha was also a pandemic warrior. During the peak of the pandemic in March 2020, when the country was at its lowest, Swapnila rose to the occasion to use her business for the betterment of the situation.
Swapnila says, "Within two days of the first lockdown we opened our factory shutters and started the production of PPE kits. Since we are a fashion house we had the resources and it was the only moral thing to do at that moment!"
Initially, they started supplying these kits in Maharashtra and then eventually obtained the license for NavRakshak PPE kits. One thing led to another and Swapnila and her team found themselves supporting various government sectors with these kits.
To meet the demand for PPE kits, Swapnila broadened horizon and supplied kits to all corners of the country to assist the front liners and make the situation better with her contribution.
In November 2020, Swapnila launched another successful brand by the name of High Dose in Goa and held its first fashion show at the Sunburn Festival.
She also set up her brand in the UAE & Saudi Arabia and built a great clientele for the brand. As of now, Swapnila Kirthan Purecha is spearheading her brand across borders and is taking it to Canada and the United States.
Talking about her career in a brief and informal discussion, Swapnila Kirthan Purecha said, "I think being out there has helped me the most in my journey. I have always made it a point to go after what I want and remain proactive with every opportunity. It will not be an overstatement to say that I have not just waited for opportunities to come my way but also created them a lot of times."
