A woman on parole was allegedly gangraped by her partners in crime in a moving car in Hauz Khas area in the early hours of Saturday. A call received at 5.05 am informed police about a woman lying unconscious on a carriageway near Aurobindo Marg.
In her statement to police, the former Tihar Jail inmate booked under MCOCA said she and her friends were celebrating a favourable court pronouncement after attending a hearing at Saket Court. The four men, identified as Kale Khanna, Bobby Chakka, Rajan and Azad, later took her for a spin in their car. “She was offered a spiked drink and soon slipped into unconsciousness. The three men in the backseat raped her,” said a police official. A medical exam has confirmed rape. A case under appropriate sections has been registered at Hauz Khas police station.
