Chief Minister Raman Singh has heartfily thanked the people of State for all the support and cooperation in successful accomplishment of State-wide Vikas Yatra.
Singh has also thanked all those people, public representatives, officials and representatives of various organisations, Government employees and officials who have contributed in organising this mega event of Vikas Yatra. Raman also praised the media and public, and has expressed gratitude for their cooperation. Informed in an official statement issued here on Saturday.
In his message released on the occasion of conclusion of Vikas Yatra, he said like Vikas Yatra 2008, Vikas Yatra of year 2013 has also concluded successfully with support of all.
He said that Vikas Yatra is the sign of continuous works done by State Government for progress and prosperity of new Chhattisgarh State. The State, which was formed by Atal Behari Vajpayee for eradication of the problems like poverty, hunger, migration and backwardness in the region, has now created an identity as the fastest developing State of the country. Other than introducing the first Food Security Act, Chhattisgarh Government formulated important schemes for betterment of village, poor and farmers and has also effectively implemented the same with the support of people.
large number of people, women, farmers, labourers, and villagers participated enthusiastically in all the public gatherings and welcome programmes organised during the Vikas Yatra from Dantewada to Surguja and accorded tremendous response to the procession.
