In a major development ahead of 2019 general elections, Ram Mandir has become a focal point for the right wing parties as Vishva Hindu Parishad(VHP) has been demanding Union Government for a law to construct Ram Mandir at Ayodhya. In view to garner support to this, VHP will hold a massive rally in Bengaluru on November 25 demanding the Union Government to come out with a notification to remove all obstruction for construction of Ram Mandir at Ayodhya.
VHP Secretary General Milind Parande said in Bengaluru on Saturday that the public meeting will be attended by Sants, Sanyasis, Ram Bhakts, famous personalities to demand a notification from the Union Government. He said that Hindu society continued the struggle since year 1528 AD to build Sri Ram temple on the Ram Janmabhumi site in Ayodhya.
He said “Since last 68 years, cases have been pending in various courts including the Supreme Court. It has been proved beyond doubt on the basis archaeological evidence that a Hindu temple stood at the disputed site before it was demolished in the year 1528 by the foreign Muslim invader Babar”.
“We respect the Supreme Court. But that respect doesn’t mean waiting eternally for the justice. Also, the Hindu society feels insulted after the comments made by the respected judges on October 29 while giving the January 2019 date for next hearing of Shree Ramjanmabhumi case, who said that the court has other priorities. The case was given only 4-5 minutes time on Oct 29”, he added. “The Hindu society cannot wait eternally for justice to be delivered by the courts, we want a law to be enacted by the Central Government in Parliament to clear all the legal and other obstacles to building a grand temple in Ayodhya”, he said.
