The sudden decision of demonetisation may have adverse impact on The India International Trade Fair (IITF) starting on Monday.
Rahul Anand, a businessman at Chandni Chowk said that he has been a regular visitor of trade fair every year but this year he is not visiting due to shortage of cash in hand.
Riya Wankhede, student of Delhi University was very disappointed as she will not be able to visit trade fair.
“I have already visited banks for two days to exchange old notes but returned with nothing in hand. How can I think to visit trade fair with no cash in hand,” said Riya.
Sudhanshu Gupta, who runs a books shop at Mukharjee Nagar said,” What will I do in trade fair without any money in handIJ I have closed my shop for two days because of not having change to return. Now I cannot afford to close it any more .
