Tormentor Modi will go: Mamata

As the poll heat increased Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee hit back forcefully attacking Prime Minister Narendra Modi for “torturing, oppressing and squeezing the poor and the middle class” during the past five years of his rule.

Addressing a huge crowd at Bagula in Ranaghat constituency of Nadia district Banerjee said “for the past five years you (Modi) have only made joy trips to foreign countries and delivered high-sounding nothings. The people are not going to be taken in by your deceitful eloquence.”

On the Prime Minister’s avowal that the BJP was soon going to take control of Bengal Banerjee said “first he should mind Delhi before coming to Bengal because he will not get more than 100 seats and all his allies will desert him for his highhandedness and haughty style of functioning.”

Banerjee said “BJP will not get Odisha, Bengal, Punjab, UP where Mayawatiji and Akhilesh Yadav will fare excellently, MP, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan where they have already lost, Maharashtra, Gujarat where they will get only half their present seats, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telengana and Tamil Nadu. So from where they will the seats? They will even fare badly in Bihar and Assam. So it will be a waste voting for a party on its way out.”

Attacking the Prime Minister for peddling lies through and through Banerjee said “for the past five years you have oppressed, the people, tortured and exploited them, deprived them of their basic needs. “Instead of giving them the promised 2 crore yearly jobs you have taken away 2 crore jobs by demonetization. Your goons of the BJP and RSS have attacked the opposition and they have not even spared the journalists when they tried to speak the truth.”

Banerjee who subsequently led a massive road show at Krishnagar city which again falls in the Krishangar Lok Sabha constituency also in Nadia district said the “main exploits of the Modi Government is suffering of the poor, marginal and middle class people who have made up their mind to get rid of him. For the past five years he has only travelled abroad and made merry leaving India in dire straits.”

Banerjee said like the people bitten by dogs suffer from hydrophobia the Prime Minister was suffering from “defeat-phobia” which was why “he is talking nonsense where ever he goes. He has lost his sleep due to the fear of defeat,” she said. She warned if Modi returned to power he will gobble up democracy and end elections in India.
