It’s a big Sunday for Vadodara. Apart from a main function of ‘Run for Unity’ event in the Banyan City, it would witness keenly contested elections of the Baroda Cricket Association on the same day.
The election of office-bearers and various committees will see a new group in the fray. For over a decade, a panel headed by BCA president Chirayu Amin had been ruling the association. This time BCA secretary has joined hand with Samarjeetsinh Gaekwad, who is from royal family of erstwhile Baroda State. Former Test players Anshuman Gaekwad, Kiran More and Nayan Mongia are in Amin’s panel and also contesting for various posts.
