Nine people, including five children, were seriously injured and were fighting for life after bombs stockpiled at a farm house allegedly by Trinamool goons for creating scare and violence in the civic polls went off accidentally late on Saturday noon. The incident occurred in Dikberia at Madhyamgram, a suburban township 30 km north of Kolkata, sources said , alleging the spot where the bombs were stockpiled was a stone’s throw away from Trinamool MP Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar’s house.
In fact the farmhouse was being used as a temporary election camp of the ruling party. The local MP was fully aware of the election camp being run there locals alleged. However no Trinamool leader, made any comments. The impact of the blast was so much that part of one child’s skull had blown off while lower limbs of three others were torn into smithereens. Another child was thrown away about 20 feet away under the impact of the blast. “We want an answer from the Chief Minister” the locals yelled saying “how much blood she wants to satisfy her lust for power.”
