Vijay Kumar G, our staff photographer at The Pioneer breathed his last on Friday at All India Institute of Medical Sciences. Vijay died at a relatively young age of 51 years.
He leaves behind two minor daughters and a minor son apart from his wife. Vijay rose from the position of lab Assistant to Staff Photographer through his own efforts. He spoke less instead allowed his camera to do the talking. A team man to the core Vijay addressed fellow colleagues as Dada.
Vijay took ill few days back and was admitted at Kukreja Nursing Home in East Delhi. Doctors at the nursing home referred him to AIIMS after his condition deteriorated. He was declared dead at AIIMS on Friday afternoon. His last journey culminated at lodhi Road crematorium.
