With the reports about Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu being not happy with the Centre’s “failure to fulfill promises” to his State in the Union Budget, Senior TDP leader and Union Minister YS Chowdary met BJP president Amit Shah here on Saturday pressing for
special package for the bifurcated State.
Chowdary is understood to have met the BJP chief at the latter’s party office and discussed about various assurances in the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act.
“The meeting lasted for 20 minutes, in which several issues including special package and pending financial aid for Hudhud cyclone were discussed with Shah,” sources said.
