Sterlite Power Grid Ventures on Saturday said it has raised Rs925 crore through issuance of non-convertible debentures. The proceeds would be used by its arm East North Interconnection Company (ENICl) for refinancing existing loans, the company said in a statement.
“Sterlite Power Grid Ventures ltd (Sterlite Grid). successfully closed Rs925 crore issuance of non-convertible debentures for its subsidiary East North Interconnection Company (ENICl),” the company said in a statement. The company further said that another Rs2,500 crore bond issuance for similar projects are in the pipeline. ENICl owns and operates 900 circuit km of 400 KV double circuit transmission lines in Bihar, West Bengal and Assam.
