Expressing grief over the death of a boy in a bomb explosion in Roorkee, BJP leader and Haridwar MlA Madan Kaushik said the State Government is responsible for the mounting crime graph in Haridwar district, in particular, and the State, in general.
He said that the administration should have taken elaborate security measures with deployment of additional forces in view of Babri Masjid demolition anniversary. Previously, explosives were found by the police in the localities where such incidents occurred. However, the police have failed to derive lessons from them, he lamented. He demanded a high level probe into the ‘unfortunate’ incident.
Venting anger against the State Government, Kaushik said its nonchalance is inciting the criminals to go on the prowl in various parts of the State.
