National Commission for Women (NCW) member Sushma Sahu today said she has urged the Himachal Pradesh Government to provide security to the family of the schoolgirl who was allegedly raped and murdered here.
The NCW member, who visited the victim's family yesterday, alleged "tardy" investigations in the case.
"I have requested the government to provide security and financial help to the family, and also ensure that the victim's brother can go to the school without any fear," she told reporters here.
