Despite his categorical assertion that he will remain in Telangana Rashtra Samiti till his last breath, the future of senior Minister T Harish Rao continues to be a subject of speculation in the political circles in the State.
A Revanth Reddy, who recently quit Telugu Desam Party to join Congress on Saturday warned that irrigation Minister Harish Rao’s life was under serious threat in TRS. Alleging that Harish Rao’s uncle (K Chandrasekhar Rao) and cousin (K Taraka Rama Rao) were conspiring to kill him, Revanth Reddy advised Harish Rao to quit TRS.
Revanth Reddy said that when YS Rajasekhar Reddy was alive, Harish Rao had met him to discuss the merger of TRS party. “But due to the untimely death of Rajasekhar Reddy that could not move forward”, he said.
Revanth Reddy also claimed that Harish Rao met the BJP President Amit Shah secretly twice and held talks with the relatives of a key BJP leader.
