Row over parking led to the killing of a 50-year-old property dealer in Outer Delhi’s Alipur area on Friday evening. The deceased has been identified as Rajbeer Rana.
According to the police, the incident took place around 9.30 pm when the deceased was at his residence. Prem Rana (58) who lives opposite to his house had just reached his residence and wanted to park his Hyundai car. Police officials revealed that some construction was being carried out at Rajbeer’s house and construction material was lying outside giving less space for Prem to park his car. Prem called out for Rajbeer and asked him to clear the debris since he had no space to park his car.
The duo got into a heated argument and Prem allegedly called out for his sons to help. His two sons came out with a revolver and threatened Rajbeer. By the time he could take a control of the situation they fired at several rounds at him and fled from the spot. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
“Rajbeer sustained three bullet injuries — two in the chest and one in the abdomen. A case of murder has been registered at Alipur police station and a manhunt has been launched to nab the accused,” said a police official. Rajbeer works as a property dealer and also has a construction business in Swarup Nagar area. Prem also works as a property dealer in the area and his sons run a steel factory in Outer Delhi.
