Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan said that he was ready for a probe by the CBI into alleged financial irregularities in Shia and Sunni Waqf Boards.Khan accused the BJP Government of recommending a CBI probe with ulterior motive of humiliating Muslims and communal polarisation.
“let them do whatever they want against me. The Government could do anything against me. The Minister has no role in affairs of the Waqf boards as they are autonomous bodies. The BJP Government’s sole objective is to create communal hatred,” alleged Khan.
