For almost four decades fans used to wait with bated breaths when the films featuring these two superstars were shot and getting readied for releases. Both of them were the firsts to be conferred with the title of mega stars. But in 2017, in spite of their hectic shooting schedules , fans of Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan are eagerly waiting for the launch dates of the political parties to be led by them.
Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan, the reigning super stars of Tamil film industry are getting ready for rebooting their professional life and people in Tamil Nadu will soon see both of them giving up reel life fighting and switching over to real life actions in the political arena of the State.
Kamal Haasan, while speaking in a function organised by a pro-CPI(M) daily in Chennai on Friday made it known that he was already in politics. He said he was yet to select a name for the party and date of launching. But Kamal Haasan, a school dropout, said the theme of his political outfit would have the teachings of Ram Manohar lohia spiced up with Gandhian Marxism.
Haasan has been on a wordy duel with the AIADMK –led Government in Tamil Nadu since the demose of Jayalalithaa. When he was asked on Friday night why he kept quiet when Jayalalithaa was alive, he retorted “You also remained silent, but you sought to make me a sacrificial goat”. The actor had called on Chief Minister P Vijayan of Kerala earlier this month ostensibly to facilitate the support of the party’s Tamil Nadu unit for his political career.
Meanwhile, hectic activities are going on in the Rajinikanth camp for the reincarnation of the actor as a politician. Tamilaruvi Manian, a former chief of the Tamil Nadu Congress Committee is working over time to speed up Rajinikanth’s entry to the world of politics. “We are in the process of mobilising six lakh active volunteers who will devote their full time for the party all over Tamil Nadu”, Manian told The Pioneer. He said there were 250 to 300 booths in each of the assembly constituency. “Our idea is to have 2500 workers in each constituency. These workers have been briefed about the principles on Rajinikanth would be working. We are all optimistic about his political career,” added Manian.
Manian, who heads Gandhiya Makkal Aiyakkam, an organisation propagating the ideology taught by Mahatma Gandhi, said Rajinikanth was ahead of Kamal Haasan in mass acceptability.
