The failure of poll strategist Prashant Kishor aka `PK’ to bring in like-minded parties on one platform to form a grand alliance, has once again boosted the morale of Congress leaders. Veterans who remained with the Congress for last 27 years are hopeful of getting a ticket to contest upcoming Assembly elections as they were demoralised by news of a grand alliance. “The momentum which we made after our chief ministerial candidate Sheila Dikshit and Rahul Gandhi’s separate yatras, was derailed due to PK’s efforts to go for alliance”, said a senior Congress leader.
