People will reject unholy pact in Bihar: BJP chief

BJP president Amit Shah created a commotion among the media people here on Saturday by accusing one national Hindi news channel for what he termed as taking up agenda to promote Aam Admi Party (AAP) in the run up to the Delhi Assembly election.

Before winding up his visit, the BJP chief hit at the process of the merger of Janata Parivar and said BJP was not worried since only Parivar (family) is left there and Janata (public) has discarded it. “An unholy alliance is taking place in Bihar but people will not accept it and our internal estimate is that BJP will achieve its target of 185+ seats in the Assembly poll,” he said.

The charge he made repeatedly caused consternation among the media people covering his Press conference at the BJP headquarters. “This is my allegation and this is a worst example of yellow journalism,” he remarked acidly.

Shah was asked that his party has to borough a player (Kiran Bedi) to counter Arvind Kejriwal but still the AAP leader is having an edge over the former IPS officer in a survey as far as most preferred Chief Minister of Delhi is concerned. Shah shot back, “The survey has been conducted by the Aaj Tak channel with an agenda to show that AAP will emerge victorious. This is my opinion and you cannot stop me from expressing it,” he said.
