Bizzare parking by the crowd that assembled at Sonia Gandhi’s 10-Janpath residence caused heavy traffic congestions on Saturday. The traffic routes in lutyen’s Delhi turned chaotic and major traffic blocks were witnessed in all across Connaught Place and all routes leading towards Patiala House Courts.
The routes — including Karol Bagh to Badarpur, Shri Ram College of Commerce to Qutub Minar, Hauz Khas to lakshmi Nagar, and Greater Kailash to Connaught Place and Janpath to Patiala House — witnessed major traffic blocks.
The usual time of covering the routes were extended by minutes, leaving commuters having a bad hair day. “I am coming from India Gate where some Congress supporters have parked their car in a haphazard way obstructing the traffic,” said Ram Nath, who was travelling with his family.
