Opp says Bihar image tarnished in one year

The NDA has accused the Nitish Kumar led-Mahagathbandhan Government of bringing back crime, patronising criminals and kidnappers and sullying the image of Bihar which had been built-up during the regime of the NDA Government under Kumar. “People are gripped by a sense of fear and criminals supported the ruling party are ruling the roost,” said a report issued by the leaders of the NDA here on Saturday.

The NDA report card was released a day before the Government report which will be released on Sunday by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to mark one year of the grand alliance Government. Those present on the occasion included former Deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi, Union Minister and lJP president Ram Vilas Paswan, Union Minister of State and RlSP president Upendra Kushwaha, former CM and HAM chief Jitan Ram Manjhi, leader of Opposition in Biahr Assembly Prem Kumar and senior BJP leader Nandkishore Yadav. Modi raised many questions asking Nitish why there was no investment in one year, all incentives to entrepreneurs withdrawn, many public schemes shelved and why there was no talk of agriculture roadmap and why the important sectors like agriculture, industry, health and education were not included in CM’s seven resolves.

Paswan asked how many Maha Dalit families, who had been promised land, were provided that and why Dalit settlements were still not electrified. “This Government will not complete its full term and fall soon. The sooner it is out better,” lJP chief said.
