State-owned ONGC's crude oil production witnessed a 3.4 per cent increase in Q3 of FY15 as it stood at 6.6 million tonnes, compared to 6.5 million tonnes in the corresponding period of FY14. The company during the current fiscal made 18 discoveries, while in the corresponding period, it had made 14 discoveries.
Net profit of the company however stood at Rs3,571.20 crore during the third quarter of the current fiscal, which was half of Rs7,125.97 crore net profit that it had recorded in the corresponding period of the previous financial year.
