Taking a leaf from the book of its ally the BJP, Telangana TDP has started targeting tennis star Sania Mirza calling her a "Pakistani".
After the BJP floor leader in the state assembly K lakshman earlier created a ruckus by calling Sania "daughter in law of Pakistan", his TDP counter part E Dayakar Rao called her "a Pakistani" and objected to the Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra-shekar Rao rewarding her with Rs 1 crore.
Sania Mirza, who was appointed the brand ambassador of Telangana by KCR , recently won US Open doubles championship and received another cash reward of Rs 1 crore from the State Government.
