Chief Minister Nitish Kumar observed 24 hours fast and sat on dharna to protest the land Acquisition Bill and declared even if it is passed as an Act, his Government will not implement it in Bihar at any cost. Nitish’s dharna was part of State-wide protest by the JD(U) and the party workers led by Ministers, MPs and legislators observed daylong fast and dharna at each district and block headquarters. The CM and others, including State JD(U) president Bashistha Narain Singh and some Ministers, will end their dharna on Sunday morning at the party headquarters.
