The National Commission for Women (NCW) has sought an action taken report (ATR) from Delhi Police following the new medical report in Sunanda Pushkar’s case.
The commission has also asked for a fresh medical report from police submitted by AIIMS doctors detailing the reasons for Sunanda’s death, which rekindled the controversy shrouding her passing away. “We have asked for an action taken report in Sunanda’s death in the light of recent developments from the Delhi Police along with the new medical report that has been given to them,” said NCW chairperson lalitha Kumaramangalam.
