The audacity of the cyber criminals is increasing by the day as they did not spare even a Member of Parliament. Thota Narasimhlu, the member of lok Sabha from Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh has lodged a complaint with the police that some unknown person had withdrawn Rs50,000 from his bank account by cloning his debit card.
In a complaint to the police, the MP said during his visit to Benglauru in August he had used his debit card at a shopping mall and had revealed his pin number to the shop owner.
The investigation by the Cyber Crime unit of AP Police revealed that an unknown person had withdrawn the cash using MP’s card in Goa. The police have identified the culprit with the help of the CCTV footage at the ATM where the money was withdrawn.
