Congress general secretary and leader of Opposition (loP) in the Rajya Sabha Gulam Nabi Azad charged that the NDA Government was engaged in the ‘reactive’ foreign policy and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has failed to formulate a clear

policy for China and Pakistan.

“The BJP-led Government at the Centre, sensing its failures during the three-year regime, has now gone back to the British policy of divide and rule. After triggering communal divide, the BJP Government has now turned to the caste politics,” said Gulam Nabi Azad here on Saturday.

Addressing a Press conference along with UP Congress president Raj Babbar here on Saturday on the three-year rule of the NDA Government the congress leader said the Modi Government was only making tall claims and was spending crores on publicity. “There is no foreign policy and this NDA Government is just reacting on any action of Pakistan and has lost

its aggressiveness,” he

alleged.

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi seems to be a confused man on the issue of foreign policy. He sends mangos to Pakistan prime minister and later saree for his mother and he himself went to Pakistan on his way from Afghanistan to India. What we got in return, Pakistan army invaded the Kashmir border and beheaded the solders of the Indian army’, alleged Gulam Nabi Azad adding Rs Rs  what has been the response of the NDA government against the provocations by the Pakistan army’.  Congress leader added Rs Rs  the NDA government is clueless as to how to deal with the aggression of the pak army in Kashmir’.

“The BJP led government at the centre sensing its failures during their three year regime is now resorting to the tools of the colonial rulers -the policy of divide and rule. The BJP is stoking the caste and communal divide’ said Gulam Nabi Azad.

“The BJP during the 2014 lok Sabha elections had made a big issue out of the beheading of Indian soldiers. What action the NDA government has taken   after the beheading of the Indian solders on Kashmir border this year. During the three years of the NDA rule there were 172 terror attack with 12 big ones including at the army base have taken place  and  576 Indian soldiers lost their lives along with 877 civilians too were killed in these terror attacks’, said Azad adding Rs Rs  there is no answer from the Modi government on the issue of grave importance’’.

He also reminded the BJP as to how the PM was holding dinner for the Chinese president in New Delhi and Ahmadabad and the Chinese soldiers were intruding in ladahak. “It was shameful fir the Modi government had to drop his minister from Arunachal Pradesh from the guest list for dinner in order to appease the Chinese president.
