A senior Assistant Commissioner of Police Ashwathnarayana Pise of Yeshwanthpura division in Bengaluru was on Saturday suspended for dereliction of duty in the case related to the assault on the Tanzanian student. The police commissioner N S Megharikh confirmed that they have suspended four constables, one Inspector and an ACP on dereliction of duty after a mob attacked a Tanzanian student on January 31.
