Indulge in Direct Dil Se (DDS) a special music concert organised on World Heart Day by Rock Castle Entertainment. The concert which aims to unite hearts with music, will feature 15 artists from 10 music genres who would come together and sing on the spot at the Sirifort auditorium.
“DDS is a fusion concert where renowned singers from different genres will come together and sing without any rehearsals. That’s why it’s Direct Dil Se. Through music we will also be talking about how we can keep our heart hale and hearty. We are sure of one thing that when we’ll perform, we’ll create magic,” singer Shibani Kashyap says.
Sharing this honour with Kashyap are legendary Wadali Brothers, Abhay Sapori, Bobby Cash, Mame Khan, Suhail Yusuf Khan, Hiten Panwar, Ashish Chauhan, Valentine Shipley, Rohit Kulkarni, Nikhil Kumar, Anil Chawla, Anirban Ghosh, Chintan Kalra, Kunal Wason, Kennedy Emanuel, Kabul and Kennedy Emanuel.
Although playing on spot means a lot of training, but Puran Chand Wadali plans to go with the flow. “Hum toh bus dusre kalakaroon ki gayki ka mazaa lene aa rahe hai,” Chand Wadali tells you.
The festival which is being supported by the Billion Hearts Beating Foundation, will also feature a talk session by Dr KK Talwar, chairman, Board of Governors, Medical Council of India on spreading awareness about heart health. “Music is something which goes beyond language, culture, and boundaries. It’s a good way to bring the public together and spread awareness about how important it is to take care of our heart. It is medically proven that music plays an important role in keeping heart stress free,” Bobby Cash explains.
So what is their favourite dil se numberIJ “Dil Deke Dekho, Dil laygayee Kudi Punjab Di, Do Dil Mil Rahe Hain,” Kashyap speaks for all of them.
Elsewhere, there are chefs dishing out recipes that they feel will work wonders for the heart. Yummy food, they tell you can make a thousand hearts beat. “We have come out with a healthy menu for the World Heart Day. Having taken all precautions to use ingredients that won’t hurt the heart.
