Delhi lieutenant-Governor Anil Baijal has said all the civic agencies must take special care of the heritage places in their jurisdiction as they will be centre of attraction of the international guests arriving from different countries for the upcoming ‘Association of Southeast Asian Nations’ (ASEAN) Summit.

Civic agencies have been given the deadline of January 15 to complete all the suggested works.

Keeping the summit in mind,  Baijal on Saturday inspected Red Fort, Jama Masjid and Chandni Chowk areas to take stock of the preparations taken by various agencies like Public Works Department, Delhi Police, North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NMC) and other civic agencies concerned.
