Jhumroo, the spectacular Bollywood stage musical at Kingdom of Dreams (KOD), completed a dream run of 700 shows on August 3, 2014. As the cast of the show took the curtain call to the popular tune of the music of legendary Kishore Kumar, the  audience filled the Nautanki Mahal with resounding applause. For more than two years, this musical on stage has kept viewers glued to their seats with its enthralling special effects, rhythm and melody of lilting music of Kishore Kumar.

Jhumroo tells the journey of a simpleton Bhola and his tryst with friendship, love and life — a story we can all identify with.

“The music of Kishore da is classic and evergreen and with this musical we celebrate his spirit. It has been a wonderful journey so far and we look forward to celebrating its success with many more milestones,” Viraf Sarkari, director of KOD, says. For actors and dancers who have been a part of the show, it has been one long grand party.

“Playing  Bhola has been very memorable. Jhumroo has won over audiences from all over the world and I am overwhelmed by the love showered by the audiences during the shows. I am confident that the musical will continue to entertain and we will achieve more such history making events,” a confident Gaurav Gera, the star performer of this show, tells you.
