Kejriwal, Sisodia to attend Yoga Day celebrations at Rajpath

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his deputy Manish Sisodia will be attending the International Yoga Day celebrations at Rajpath on Sunday. “Kejriwal and Sisodia will attend the International Yoga Day celebrations on Sunday after both were invited by the Centre,” said a source in the AAP Government. “Till Friday, there was no confirmation whether Kejriwal will attend the event or not. Both Kejriwal and Sisodia later received an invitation and thereafter, both the leaders have agreed to participate in the International Yoga Day celebrations,” source said.
The AAP Government, however, has not organised any official programme on International Yoga Day on Sunday, saying that when one big event is being organised, another one will not be required.“There is no any scheduled event by the Government pertaining to International Yoga Day for Sunday so far,” source said. In April this year, the Delhi Government had also announced ‘Vipasana’ training for its schoolteachers aimed at lowering their stress levels and helping them inculcate “values” among students.
