Come Sunday, in this hot humid weather in the capital of India, Dabang Delhi will clash against Bengal Warriors in the Star Sports Pro Kabaddi league.
Bengal Warriors who are out from the race to the play-offs have nothing to lose and if Delhi has to make it to the semi-final, the team has to win all its four remaining matches. Delhi will be looking for their home support which has been amazing on the social media.
Delhi's head coach Sagar Bandekar believes that team's dream of playing the Playoffs is still alive. He says, "In the 10 matches that we have played till now, the players have performed well. We have four matches and we will try winning them all and enhance our chances of getting in the semi-finals. This is the Dabang Delhi team. They can do anything and they will do it and then show you. We have not lost it till now and the matches we have lost are by marginal points and if we get support from fans we will play with more vigour."
Delhi Raider Kashiling Adake is full of confidence and is optimistic that the team will do well in the remaining matches. He says, "We have performed well till now and the matches that we have lost is by a very marginal difference of few points. We have four matches on our home ground and we want to win all of them and make it to the semi-finals. We will make it to the top four and then to the finals as well."
Dabang Delhi star defender, Sachin Shingade who is in such fine touch and showing great skills and abilities in the league, feels that the team is losing crucial matches because of last minute mistakes. He says, ""It's just because of the last moment mistakes that we have lost few matches. Meraj Sheykh, Kashiling Adake and Selvamani K are performing well. We will try not repeating those mistakes in the upcoming matches and hopefully we can make it to the semi-final."
For Bengal Warriors, the team languishing at the bottom of the table with only three wins from their thirteen games will be looking to make a dent on Delhi's hope. Warriors will be banking on their form in their last game against U Mumba when they dented U Mumba's hope to make it to the semi-finals. Poster Boy, Jang Kun lee will be a threat for hosts' team.
