JK Organisation conducts Blood Donation Camps

The JK Organisation on Saturday conducted ‘Blood Donation Camps’ in about 21 locations across the country on the occasion of the 82ndbirth anniversary of late Hari Shankar Singhania, one of the key architects of the 4-billion-dollar group. A ‘Padma Bhushan’ awardee, Hari Shankar played an active role in the growth and consolidation of the JK Organisation by setting up several new ventures and acquiring and inducting several companies into the group, a press communiqué released by the group stated.

“While the group is involved in various community services the blood donations camps were specially organised on this day as a tribute to Hari Shankar who was always keen to do something extra for the society,” said a group spokesperson. The camps were organised in Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh among others, the spokesperson pointed out.
