The wife of an IAS officer alleged that her husband deserted her after she suffered injuries in an adventure game in Shimla in 2014 which resulted into paralysis on her left part of the body.
The wife Moni Bansal (42) in her complaint lodged before the chief judicial magistrate stated that she was married to Pankaj Kumar Bansal, an IAS officer of Tamil Nadu cadre, on December 6, 1998. At present Pankaj is the Managing Director in Chennai Metro Rail Corporation.
