Heatwave conditions intensified in Rajasthan with Bikaner recording the highest temperature of 46 degrees Celsius on Saturday.
Churu boiled at 45.4 degrees, followed by Jaisalmer and Sriganganagar where the maximum day temperature was recorded at 44.5 degrees Celsius, the MeT department said here.
Kota, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Ajmer and Jaipur registered maximum temperature of 44.7, 44.5, 43.1, 43 and 42 degrees Celsius respectively.
Meanwhile, light rain occurred in Sikar, the department said, adding weather conditions in the State would remain the same on Sunday.
