Good news for aspiring "Special Teachers" in the national Capital as social welfare department of Delhi Government will recruit 92 posts.
Interestingly, the Government in its notification has mentioned different categories — PGT, TGT and AT.

The notifications highlighted that 16 posts are vacant for PGT and for TGT 29 while for Assistant Teacher (AT), the number of posts are 47. Incidentally, there are more than 20,000 special children studying in Delhi Government schools.
Candidates who are interested in the position will have to download the application form from the website of the Department of Social Welfare and submit the application form to Deputy Director (Administartion) (SW), GLNS Complex, Delhi Gate, Delhi.
"The engagement will be purely on contract basis for a period of one year, extendable annually to a maximum of three years or till a regular recruit is available, whichever is earlier," the notification reads.
The last date to send the application form is December 07, 2018 till 5.00pm. Candidates can get more details through the official notification available on the website.
Pertinently, in 2016, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) said Special Educators to prepare Individualised Education Programme (IEP), the order was issued by the Directorate of Education (DoE) then. "Special Educators placed in Government run and aided schools have been asked to prepare IEP for every disabled child in their care," the DoE's statement quoted.
