Coming to the aid of guest teachers and providing them a big relief, the AAP Government has decided that they would be soon reappointed in Delhi schools and no guest teacher would lose job. The AAP Government has issued a circular to this effect.
“All the HoDs are informed that the guest teachers engaged up to May 10, 2016 be reengaged from July 1, 2016 and guest teachers are hereby directed to report to the Head of School (HoS) concerned on the date of reopening of schools without fail. In case any guest teacher’s fails to report to the school by July 8, it is presumed that they are no longer interested for re-engagement and alternative arrangement will be made. Guest teachers who have been disengaged prior to May 10, due to lack of vacancy in their earlier schools (but not removed due to indiscipline /poor performance) during March-May 2016 will be deployed suitably in a different school,” a notification said.
