While expressing her pleasure, beaming Anaqat said she had not expected more than 97 per cent. “My aim was to get at least 97 per cent but I was trying to tell myself to be alright if I get lesser. I never thought that I would end up topping in my region,” she said. Anaqat is from the Commerce stream and wishes to pursue a career in it. She further said, “I want to do Economic Honours from the Delhi University. I have strived hard to prepare for the exam throughout the year.”

Meanwhile, the website of council crashed within a few minutes after releasing the results for Class XII. Only a handful of students knew their results while schools were struggling to even log into the website. The Council released the ISC result at 3 pm. Issue seemed to persist as until late hours in the evening, there was no sign of the result coming out. The Council had also integrated their system with mobile networks which were sending the results to SMS. In fact, the only students who received their results on Saturday were through SMS.
