A teenager was murdered by his four friends following an argument between them over a petty issue. All four have been apprehended; two of them are juveniles. According to police, the deceased, identified as Ravi (17), had been missing since Thursday evening.
“When Ravi’s parents approached us, we informed them that body of a teenager was found near a shopping mall in Mayur Vihar. They identified the body as their son’s,” said a police official. Ravi’s parents told police that he had gone out with his friends on Thursday evening, following which they were questioned. “During investigation, they revealed that Ravi was beaten up by them after an argument. They went on to hit him with a broken bottle of beer and then bludgeoned his face with a stone to hide his identity and fled,” said a police official.
