An FIR has been lodged against leader of Indian National lok Dal (INlD) and his supporters, who thrashed employees deputed at Toll Plaza on the Gurgaon-Sohna Road highway near Bhondsi village.
The incident took place on Friday around 7 am when a convoy of INlD leader of Sohna Satbir Pahalwan was on his way to Kurukshetra via Gurgaon for a rally. His convoy was stopped at a toll plaza as some of the vehicles had commercial registration numbers. The toll employees' demand of levy from them, lead to an altercation followed by physical assault.
Pahalwan and his supporters allegedly started beating up toll employees with hockey sticks and batons. Pahalwan was himself found slapping toll plaza staff in a CCTV camera footage assessed by the police.
