A two-day event was organised at Radisson Blu, Paschim Vihar in New Delhi, recently that had runway shows, exhibitions, gala parties and fashion talks. The sprawling venue with its alluring ambience offered a wide range of international quality designs.
In pursuit of its vision to make fashion accessible to all their target audience, India Fashion Fest 2014 embarked on innovative ways, like getting luminaries who sat alongside local heroes as the fashion festival captivated the industry and general public which assembled to discuss the thought-provoking fashion trends of the season.
Designers who presented their collections included Soltee Sulakshna and Amit Ahuja. The jewels for Ahuja’s shows were provided by Magique Accessories.
Many more designers such as Ashfaque Ahemad, Harish K Vashisht, Akshya Rajan, Manisha Dalmia, J Sharma, Mohd Javed, Pankaj leela, Gunjan Sharma, Pankaj Diamond’s, Prachi Shastri, Siddhant and Shruti, Aarti Sethia, Krishna, Abhishek Kumar, Abid Ansari, Ashish Jaiswal as well as the students of Subharti University showcased their collections.
Talking about the fashion show, Indian Fashion Fest organisers Priya Sharma and Abhishek Kaushik said: “We are in the industry for the past 10 years and know the importance of young designers. We want to create a unique platform where youths can showcase their talent in their own ways. There are no limitations or conditions; designers are free to do anything in their own way and style because real creativity comes when you have total freedom. We hope that India Fashion Fest will create a new era in upcoming years and will be a grand success.”
