Social Activist Nutan Thakur claimed that the Election Commission of India has taken cognisance of her complaint regarding Rahul Gandhi’s Indore speech about alleged role of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) in Muzaffarnagar. Nutan Thakur complained to Election Commissioner HS Brahma and asked if what Gandhi said was true, then the Intelligence officer has exceeded his brief by sharing information with a private unauthorised person as he did not deserve any further continuation in the Intelligence Organisation.
